Presenting the Ferrari F40 x Capristo

This brand new T309SS system for the iconic Ferrari F40 was designed within a set of rigorous specifications for the project. A bespoke valved programmable configuration was initiated to create a system that provides a quieter than serial/OEM exhaust tone when the valves are closed and a louder, more aggressive/sporting exhaust tone when the valves are opened. Valve position is fully programmable and vacuum actuated by the Capristo CES3 control module (as the serial F40 does not have valves).

• 95dBA – OEM stationary noise
• 88dBA – Capristo stationary noise and flaps closed
• 110dBA – OEM gas blasts
• 120dBA – Capristo gas blasts flaps open

This system gives the F40 an unmistakable sound, while also increasing its unique character. Capristo tips are milled in house with a design that complements the original Ferrari tips on the serial exhaust to integrate perfectly into the OEM bumper exhaust outlet. OEM+

CAPRISTO Exhaust systems are engineered and manufactured utilizing advanced 3D Laser-Scanning, CAD Design, Digital prototyping, and CNC-bending/milling at our factory in Germany. Each system is made of high-grade T309 (1.4828) Stainless Steel and hand polished to a mirror finish. After extensive research, this specific alloy was chosen for its sonic resonance properties, low weight, and durability which are close to the properties of Inconel (used in F1).

• The exhaust system is designed to be installed directly into existing OEM mounting points.
